How do roof rats enter my house?
Roof rats are looking to enter your home for shelter, and a place to nest their young. They will enter your home through gaps in the exterior, and can gnaw through drywall to gain entrance into your attic space. Roof rats also love sheds, garages, and the home interior. They will gnaw through wood, plastic, aluminum siding, sheet rock, and any soft metals to gain entrance into your home or business. They will also use power lines or pipes to find an access point. As you can imagine, all this gnawing will cause extensive damage to the structure of your home.
